Vaccination is one of the most effective means of preventing infectious diseases. GAVI, the global Vaccine Alliance, needs 7.5 billion US dollars to vaccinate another 300 million children by 2020. Within the framework of Germany’s G7 Presidency a donor conference will be held in Berlin at the end of January 2015.
