The Press and Information Office of the Federal Government will be setting up a two-storey temporary structure for live stand-ups in the International Media Centre in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. TV broadcasters or agencies were asked to register their interest in a stand-up position in this area, citing the types of transmission vehicles they will be using (vehicle model, registration number, dimensions [height, width and length], weight and power requirement) by 5 May 2015.
Registration is now complete.

6. Live stand-up positions by the Briefing Centre next to Schloss Elmau
Due to security, spatial and nature conservation restrictions, only an extremely limited number of live stand-up positions will be available by the Briefing Centre next to Schloss Elmau. It will not be possible to park other transmission vehicles on site.
Only a limited number of providers will therefore be permitted by the Briefing Centre in addition to the host broadcaster under the Berlin model. These providers will manage the stand-up positions with their live technology and will lease airtime to interested broadcasters. Registration closed on 5 May 2015. The providers' contact details are listed below.
N.B.: Use of these stand-up positions requires long-term planning and is very time-consuming (at least 2 to 3 hours lead time, depending on traffic perhaps more).
As well as valid accreditation for the G7 Summit you will also need an additional Special Pass “Aufsager Briefingcenter Elmau” (Stand-up Briefing Centre Elmau). These passes will be issued only temporarily. A security check will then be carried out in the International Media Centre in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. After that, you will be transported to the Briefing Centre by means of secured transportation provided by the Press and Information Office of the Federal Government only. Once the stand-up is finished, you will return to the International Media Centre in Garmisch-Partenkirchen by means of the secured transportation provided by the Press and Information Office of the Federal Government only. The Special Pass will then have to be returned.
Journalists will not be permitted to travel to Schloss Elmau independently by any other route.
