2.       World feed (host broadcaster) during the G7 Summit

Due to security and spatial restrictions, the German public and private TV broadcasters have reached agreement on providing a world feed (host broadcaster) based on the “Berlin model” for all photo opportunities and press conferences during the G7 Summit. The world feed will be free of charge and copyright-free. Please contact the ZDF, the ARD Main Berlin Studio or the EBU for more information regarding modalities.

N.B.: The photo opportunities during the G7 Summit will be covered exclusively by means of the live TV broadcasting technology and staff of the Berlin model responsible for compiling the world feed in the security areas. No other TV broadcasting technology will be permitted.

The same applies to all photo opportunities at Schloss Elmau, in the Briefing Centre next to Schloss Elmau (press conference rooms), at Munich Airport and other photo opportunities during the G7 Summit.

As well as valid accreditation for the G7 Summit you will also need an additional Special Pass “Aufsager Briefingcenter Elmau” (Stand-up Briefing Centre Elmau). These passes will be issued only temporarily. A security check will then be carried out in the International Media Centre in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. After that, you will be transported to the Briefing Centre by means of secured transportation provided by the Press and Information Office of the Federal Government only. Once the stand-up is finished, you will return to the International Media Centre in Garmisch-Partenkirchen by means of the secured transportation provided by the Press and Information Office of the Federal Government only. The Special Pass will then have to be returned.

Journalists will not be permitted to travel to Schloss Elmau independently by any other route.
